Seeking Support: A guide to the rights and entitlements of separated children is a comprehensive guide produced by the Migrant Children's Project to provide general, practical advice to professionals on how to support separated children and young people to realise their rights and access their entitlements.
The guide is designed for use by all those who work with and support separated asylum-seeking, migrant and refugee children and young people, including social workers, carers, advocates, teachers and other education professionals, career advisers, youth workers, voluntary sector staff, refugee community organisation staff, mentors, residential and hostel workers, and health workers.
The fourth edition of the guide was published in early 2012. The updated guide, including individual chapters, can be downloaded for free on the website www.seekingsupport.co.uk.
Hard copies of the fourth edition are available to order for free, but postage and packaging charges apply. For more details on postage and packaging charges and how to order, please see our order publications online page, call 01206 877910 or email mcp@essex.ac.uk.
