Jane Barrett is a solicitor specialising in immigration, asylum and nationality law. She is accredited at level 2 in the Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme. Jane is experienced in working with children, young people and families in initial applications, fresh claims, appeals at the First Tier and Upper Tribunal and in applications for judicial review.
Jane is currently working on an outreach project in Ealing, offering advice to families, children and young people on immigration, asylum and nationality law. She also provides advice on how immigration status affects access to services and support including welfare, housing, healthcare and education.
Jane trained at Fisher Meredith solicitors where she worked in immigration, children and housing law. She then went on to work as an immigration solicitor at Lawrence Lupin solicitors. Jane joined CCLC in November 2012.
