Child Law Advice provides legal advice and information on family law and education law affecting children and families.

We cover legal issues that may arise following a relationship breakdown, as well as local authority intervention and child protection issues. Our education advice ranges from admissions issues to exclusions, as well as what to do if your child is being bullied and how to get help for your child if you suspect they have a special educational need.

2) Telephone: 0300 330 5480 for Family Law matters and 0300 330 5485 for Education Law matters – available Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm. We operate a limited intensive support telephone line for complex matters and clarifying questions. The demand for this line is high and the funding we have in place is limited thus we are only able answer a limited number of calls.

3) Callback: This allows you to schedule a call-back at a time which suits you with one of the advisers from our telephone line. Call-backs come with a fee of £30 and full details on how to book can be found here. We are only able to open a limited number of call-backs each week and are only able to open them shortly before the date they are available. As a result you may need to check the call-back section of our website several times in order to find available slots for call-backs.

4) Webchat: This is available 8am-5:30pm from Monday to Friday and can be access via our website. A blue circle will appear if an adviser is available.
