UK Border Agency (previously Border and Immigration Agency)

The UK Border Agency (previously the Border and Immigration Agency) is the Government Body responsible for asylum issues. A new executive agency of the home office, it assumes the responsibilities of the Immigration and Nationality Directorate (IND) for managing immigration control in the UK, including applicants for permission to stay, citizenship and asylum.
