Child's name on the child protection register

When will a child have his or her name on the child protection register?

A child will be put on the child protection register only after a child protection case conference has taken place. It must be decided at the conference whether or not the child will be placed on the register. A child will not be placed on the child protection register without a case conference taking place first.
