What is the purpose of a Child Protection Case Conference?

What is the purpose of a Child Protection Case Conference?

The conference will hear information about the family and about concerns that have been expressed, discuss whether or not the child is at risk of significant harm and whether there should be a ‘child protection plan’. If it is decided that there is a need for a child protection plan, the child's name will be placed on the child protection register - also called the "at risk" register.
