What if I am unhappy about my visit with the CAFCASS reporter?

What if I am unhappy about my visit with the CAFCASS reporter?

A parent should tell the Reporter that they do not feel happy with the meeting, and ask the Reporter to see them again. Some will agree, some will not, but they should listen to anything extra that a parent has to say. In court a parent or solicitor, if represented should be able to raise any concerns with the Report. If a parent still feels unhappy about the meeting, a solicitor can write or speak to the CAFCASS Reporter and to the CAFCASS Area Complaints Manager. A parent can make a formal complaint about the Child and Family Reporter to CAFCASS.
