International
The International Section works around the world to promote the implementation of children’s rights.
193 States have ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The International Section of the Children's Legal Centre provides technical assistance to Governments to fulfil their obligations under this treaty to implement children’s rights. More
In 2009, the Children's Legal Centre (CLC) started a three year project in Tajikistan – the Girls’ Support Service – funded by Big Lottery Fund, the European Union and the Sigrid Rausing Trust.
The service, aimed at girls between the ages of 10 and 18 who have been, or who are at risk of being, sexually abused, trafficked or exploited, will be implemented in partnership with the Tajik Government's National Committee for Women and Family Affairs and our local partner Child Rights Centre.
